I had such a great experience here! The staff was friendly, patient, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. The store was clean, the puppies looked well cared for, and you could tell they genuinely care about the animals. They took the time to explain everything I needed to know and made the whole process easy.

Trophy Club has always been a town built on purpose — one of Texas’s earliest master-planned communities, laid out around two championship golf courses and more than a thousand acres of parkland. A home here tends to come with a plan for the years ahead. Adding a puppy to that picture deserves the same thoughtfulness, and that’s where we come in.

Bringing a Puppy Home to Trophy Club

Families settle into Trophy Club for the long view: the quiet streets of The Highlands, the gated calm of Hogan’s Glen, the lake views up at The Knoll. These are neighborhoods where a dog grows up alongside the kids, learns the loop around the block, and becomes part of the household’s daily rhythm. That kind of life starts with a well-raised puppy, not an impulse.

At Wellspring Puppies, every puppy comes from a trusted network of carefully selected, licensed breeders. The puppies are handled gently and socialized in homes before they ever reach our floor, and a licensed Texas veterinarian examines each one before it meets a family. Texas law means none come home before eight weeks, when they’re genuinely ready. Ask us anything about where a puppy came from; a clear answer is the whole point.

Breeds Trophy Club Families Tend to Love

A Trophy Club household often wants a dog that fits an active, social neighborhood — one that’s happy on the trails at Independence Park and steady around visitors. The puppies on our floor change week to week, but these tend to suit homes here well:

  • Goldendoodles — easygoing, people-oriented, and low-to-moderate shedding. A good match for a busy family that still wants a dog underfoot.
  • Cavalier King Charles Spaniels — gentle and companionable; a Cavalier will follow you room to room, and that’s the breed, not a phase.
  • French Bulldogs — compact and adaptable, equally content in a sprawling Highlands home or a quieter empty-nester household.
  • Bernedoodles — affectionate and sturdy, with the kind of patience that suits homes with younger children.
  • Mini Goldendoodles — the doodle temperament in a smaller, more manageable frame.

Your Nearest Location, and the Drive From Trophy Club

The closest Wellspring location to Trophy Club is our Fort Worth-area location at 2840 FM157 #120, Mansfield, TX 76063 — physically in Mansfield, on the Fort Worth side of the metroplex. From Trophy Club it’s a straightforward run: pick up SH-114 east, drop south on I-35W, and you’re roughly 35 to 40 minutes out depending on traffic. Most Trophy Club families treat it as an easy half-day trip with the kids.

We also run a second location: our North Dallas location at 14233 Inwood Rd, Dallas, TX 75244, just off I-635 near LBJ. If your week takes you toward Dallas anyway, that location is just as much yours — and the inventory you see on this page is shared between the two.

One Search, Two DFW Locations

Here’s the part that makes this simple: the puppies listed on this page reflect combined inventory from both locations. You don’t have to guess which shop has what. Browse everything in one place on our puppies for sale page, and when a puppy catches your eye, call (972) 674-1963 and we’ll tell you which location it’s currently at and help you plan the trip. One trusted breeder network, two DFW locations — and one list to work from.

Availability shifts daily, so a litter you spot on Monday may have found homes by the weekend. If you have a breed in mind, it’s worth a quick call before you drive over.

Hours and Planning Your Trip

Both locations keep the same schedule, which makes a Trophy Club visit easy to fit around a weekend at Freedom Dog Park or a morning on the golf course:

Bring the whole family and take your time. Meeting a puppy in person — watching how it settles, how it greets your kids — is the part that matters most, and it’s not something to rush. There’s no countdown here. Come meet them when the timing is right for you.

Payment Plans for Trophy Club Buyers

If spreading the cost helps the timing fit your life, we work with TerraceFinance in-person. It’s a third-party financing partner, so approval runs through them rather than us, but our team will sit down and walk through the options with you in person. You can also add an optional 15-Year Limited Health Warranty at the location — long-term coverage that stands behind the fifteen-year story ahead, not a promise about any single day of it. The full picture lives on our puppy financing page.

Trophy Club Puppy Questions, Answered

Which Wellspring location is closest to Trophy Club?

The Fort Worth-area location at 2840 FM157 #120, Mansfield, TX 76063 is your nearest, about a 35–40 minute drive via SH-114 to I-35W. Our North Dallas location at 14233 Inwood Rd, Dallas, TX 75244 is the other option, and both locations’ puppies appear together on this page. Call (972) 674-1963 and we’ll help you decide which trip makes more sense.

Do I have to choose one location before I shop?

No. The inventory shown here is combined from both DFW locations, so you can browse first and sort out the “where” second. Once you find a puppy you want to meet, we’ll confirm which location it’s at and set up your visit.

How are your puppies raised before they reach the location?

They come from a trusted network of carefully selected, licensed breeders, raised in homes rather than kennels and socialized before arrival. Each puppy is examined by a licensed Texas veterinarian before meeting families, and none leave before eight weeks, as Texas law requires.

Can I bring my kids and current dog along?

Bring the family — meeting a puppy together is the whole idea. Visiting dogs are best left at home or in the car during the meet, but our team is happy to talk through how a new puppy will fit alongside a dog you already have.

What if I’m not ready to decide the same day?

That’s completely fine. There’s no pressure to commit on the spot. Take your time, reach out with any questions, and come back when it feels right. The beginning of a fifteen-year story is worth getting right.
