A few minutes off the LBJ Freeway, on Inwood Rd, there’s a quiet door that opens onto the start of a lot of fifteen-year stories. This is our North Dallas location, and it’s where puppy love begins for families across the top of the metroplex.
Find the Inwood Rd Door
Our Dallas location lives at 14233 Inwood Rd, Dallas, TX 75244, tucked into North Dallas just south of where I-635 (the LBJ Freeway) crosses Inwood. If you’ve driven the LBJ before, you already know the way — exit Inwood and head south, and we’re a short hop from the freeway with parking right out front.
That puts us within an easy reach of the whole northern arc. Addison and Farmers Branch are a few minutes away; Carrollton and Richardson sit a short drive out along the President George Bush Turnpike; families coming from Plano and Frisco are usually here in twenty to thirty minutes. Las Colinas and Irving are a quick run west.
What You’ll Find Inside
Our lineup changes with the litters, so the honest answer to “what’s here today” is call and ask — but North Dallas families tend to come in looking for the same handful of breeds, and we usually have them.

Where These Puppies Come From
Every puppy on Inwood Rd arrives from a trusted network of carefully selected, licensed breeders, chosen for soundness and temperament. They’re raised in homes with room to grow, handled gently, and socialized well before they ever ride in to Dallas. Our breeders are licensed, never a mill, and we’re glad to tell you exactly where any puppy started.
Before a puppy meets families here, it’s examined by a licensed Texas veterinarian — happy from the start, not patched up. And because Texas law keeps puppies home until they’re at least eight weeks old, the ones you meet are old enough to be ready for the trip to your place.
Hours and the Unhurried Visit
We’re open seven days a week. No appointment, no script — pull up, come in, and ask for whoever’s nearest the door.
Inside, you’ll sit with the puppies in a calm room, not a glass case. Bring the whole family and take your time; meeting them in person is the part that matters. Ask us anything — temperament, grown size, grooming, how a given breed handles apartment life or a fenced yard. A clear answer is the whole point.
Backing the Years Ahead
Bringing a puppy home is the first chapter of a long story, and we’d rather the timing fit your life than the other way around. We work with TerraceFinance in-person, so you can spread the cost out and still bring your puppy home; just ask a team member and we’ll walk through it together. Approval runs through TerraceFinance, not us, so we’ll keep the expectations straight. The full picture is on our puppy financing page.
If you want something standing behind those fifteen years, we also offer an optional 15-Year Limited Health Warranty you can add in-person — coverage built around the long haul, not a promise about any one day.
Two Locations, One DFW Family
Inwood Rd is the Dallas-side half of Wellspring. Across the metroplex, our Fort Worth-area location in Mansfield serves the western half off FM157. The two locations share one inventory, so a puppy you spot online might be waiting at either door — and if the dog you love is sitting in Mansfield, just say so and we’ll sort out the rest.
Either way, you’re talking to the same family, holding to the same standard.
North Dallas Questions, Answered
How do I get to your Dallas location from I-635?
Take the LBJ Freeway to the Inwood Rd exit and head south. We’re at 14233 Inwood Rd, 75244, a short distance from the freeway with parking out front. Coming up from the Tollway or Preston, Inwood runs parallel and gets you here just as easily.
Which breeds will I find at the Dallas location today?
It depends on the week — litters arrive and go home on their own schedule. North Dallas families often come in for doodles (Goldendoodle, Mini Goldendoodle), small companions (Cavapoo, Maltipoo), and French Bulldogs, but the live list is on our puppies for sale page. Call (972) 674-1963 and we’ll tell you who’s here right now.
Do I need an appointment to visit?
No. We’re open seven days a week — walk in whenever it suits you, bring the family, and stay as long as you like.
Can I see a puppy that’s listed at your Fort Worth location?
Yes. The two locations share inventory. If a puppy you’re interested in is at the Mansfield location, let us know and we’ll help you work out the details.
Will my puppy be at least eight weeks old?
Always. Texas law keeps puppies home until they’re at least eight weeks, and every puppy here has been seen by a licensed Texas vet before meeting families.
