Financing

Want to spread the cost of a puppy, food, or supplies? We work with TerraceFinance in location, so the timing fits your life rather than the other way around. There are a few payment-plan options to walk through together, and some begin with little or nothing down. Approval runs through TerraceFinance, not us — but whatever your credit looks like, ask us and we'll talk it through in person at either DFW location.

Financing

Two Wellspring locations across the DFW metroplex — North Dallas and the Fort Worth area — where you can meet well-started puppies in person, take your time, and ask us anything.

A puppy’s story starts long before you meet it — in a breeder’s home, with a vet’s wellness check, with weeks of gentle handling. Both of our locations are where that story reaches you. This is the part you do in person.

Two Locations, One DFW Family

Wellspring runs two locations across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, and they share one standard. Whichever you walk into, the puppies came from the same trusted network of breeders, got the same care, and are waiting for the same thing: a family that takes its time choosing.

  • North Dallas location — 14233 Inwood Rd, Dallas, TX 75244. Tucked near I-635 (LBJ), it’s the closest Wellspring for families coming from Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Richardson, and Carrollton.
  • Fort Worth-area location — 2840 FM157 #120, Mansfield, TX 76063. Physically in Mansfield and easy to reach from Arlington, Grand Prairie, Burleson, and south Fort Worth.

Pick the one nearer to you, or visit whichever fits your day. The drive between them is short, and our team will happily tell you what’s at each before you head out.

What You’ll Find on Either Floor

Walk into either location and the first thing you’ll notice is how unhurried it feels. Puppies are awake and curious in the morning, dozing by mid-afternoon — normal rhythms, not a showroom. You can sit on the floor. You can come back tomorrow.

Our inventory rotates daily across both locations, so the puppies currently available shift as litters arrive and families take dogs home. You’ll find the breeds DFW asks for most — doodles, French Bulldogs, and the small breeds North Texas leans toward — alongside whatever else has just arrived.

Happy from the Start

Every puppy is examined by a licensed Texas veterinarian before it ever meets a family. You’ll go home with its records — vaccinations, deworming dates, and the vet’s notes — and we’d suggest a wellness visit with your own DFW vet in that first week, just to keep the line of care unbroken.

Texas law means no puppy comes home before eight weeks, which is simply when they’re ready: weaned, steadier on their feet, and old enough to settle into a new house. Our puppies come from a trusted network of carefully selected, licensed breeders — never a mill. If you want to know where a particular puppy came from, ask. A clear answer is the whole point.

Backing the Years Ahead

A puppy is the first chapter of a fifteen-year story, and we like to back that story. In either location you can add an optional 15-Year Limited Health Warranty that stands behind certain genetic and hereditary conditions over the long run — the specific terms vary by breed and puppy, and we’ll walk you through them on the floor.

When the timing matters, we offer payment plans through TerraceFinance, handled in-person. You can read how it works on our financing page; approval is through TerraceFinance, not guaranteed, but we’ll sit down and go through it with you together.

Hours & Getting Us on the Phone

Both locations keep the same schedule:

One number reaches both locations: (972) 674-1963. Call ahead if you’re hoping to meet a specific breed or size — availability changes daily, and a quick call saves you a drive. You can also send us a message and we’ll tell you what’s in person today.

Questions Families Ask Before Visiting

Which Wellspring location should I go to?

Go to whichever is closer. North Texas families from Plano, Frisco, and McKinney usually find the North Dallas location on Inwood Rd is nearest, while Arlington, Mansfield, and south-side families are closer to the Fort Worth-area location. Both carry combined inventory — call (972) 674-1963 and we’ll point you to the dog you’re after.

Do I need an appointment, or can I just stop by?

Stop by. Walk-ins are welcome at both locations during open hours. If you have your heart set on a certain breed or a specific age range, a quick message through our contact page lets us tell you what’s available before you make the trip.

Are the puppies at both locations from the same breeders?

Yes. Both locations source from the same trusted network of carefully selected, licensed breeders — never from a mill. The dogs are raised with room to grow and socialized before they ever reach a location, so the standard doesn’t change from one floor to the other.

Can I bring my kids and the whole family?

Please do — that’s the part that matters. Meeting a puppy as a family tells you more than any photo can, and there’s no clock running. Bring everyone, take your time, and see who settles with whom.

Come Meet Them in Person

You can scroll listings for hours, but a puppy is something you understand by holding it. When you’re ready, browse who’s available now, then come see the North Dallas or Fort Worth-area location in person. Bring the whole family. Take your time. That’s where puppy love begins.
